Grant Applicants Sought

CANTON, Ohio (July 16, 2009) – The Aultman Foundation is accepting grant applications Aug. 3-28, from 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations with projects focusing on health, education and human services.
Special consideration is given to proposed projects and services that focus on the underserved, especially the poor, elderly and children. Proposed projects or services must impact the communities served by Aultman Health Foundation, which includes Stark, Wayne, Holmes, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties.
The Aultman Foundation does not fund individuals, capital campaigns, annual campaigns, foundations, endowments or government entities.
Application cover sheets and checklists (required) are available for download here. Materials can be dropped off to the Foundation offices located on the first floor of Aultman Hospital by 5 p.m. on Aug. 28, or delivered by postal mail.
Grants are distributed twice yearly. Seventeen organizations received grants totaling $125,000 in June; learn who they were here.

Aultman Health Foundation announced The Aultman Foundation in May 2007 to improve the health of the community using a two-fold process: targeted grant funding to area non-profit organizations and the acceptance of charitable gifts to the foundation and hospital.
