8th Round: 18 Nonprofits Receive $100,000 in Grants

The Aultman Foundation has announced 18 area nonprofit organizations will receive the organization’s eighth round of grant funding totaling $100,000. The grants are structured to help further The Aultman Foundation’s mission by funding local agencies’ projects and services in Stark, Wayne, Holmes, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties.

Grant Applicants Sought March 7-April 1

The Aultman Foundation is accepting grant applications March 7-April 1, from 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations with projects focusing on health & wellness, education and human services.

Eligibility

  • Only applications submitted by 501(c)(3) charitable organizations will be considered.
  • Organization's mission must align with those of Aultman Health Foundation and The Aultman Foundation.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a documented need for the program or service that will have a positive impact on the health of the community.
  • Applicants must define a detailed process for tracking and reporting outcomes of the proposed project or service in order to be considered. If grant is awarded, the agency must submit a progress report at six months and one year of the funded year.
  • Requests should include the ability to sustain the impact of the project or service after funding ends. Grant funds should not replace existing and ongoing operating funds of the agency.
  • Previously funded grantees must complete a successful year end report one calendar year after funding was granted before a new proposal will be considered.

The Aultman Foundation does not fund:

  • Individuals
  • Capital Campaigns or Annual Campaigns
  • Foundations or Endowments
  • Government Entities including Public School Systems
